Senior Chief Petty Officer

A Senior Chief Petty Officer is a military rank the equivalent of which is used by the service organizations of many civilizations.

Use in Starfleet

Senior Chief Petty Officer is a senior regular non-commissioned rank currently used by Starfleet. The Marine rank equivalent to Senior Chief Petty Officer is Master Sergeant.

Senior Chief Petty Officers serve in leadership roles in their respective departments. and can also serve as Chief of Boat. They have the neccessary experience to serve in any officer position and inn rare cases as a department head. They generally have many years of service and a wealth of experience in their selected field.
