A Sad Departure
Posted on Fri Sep 26th, 2008 @ 10:00pm by Captain Daniel Butterworth
Hi guys,
It is with a heavy heart that I make this following announcement. A couple of days ago I received a email from our Executive Officer Craig informing me that he had decided to retire from Bravo Fleet and from the Pacifica. Craig has come to this decision, as he believes that he can no longer commit the time that he feels is needed for the Pacifica. I know that this was a difficult decision for him to reach and one that I personally was not expecting, but I respect him for making the call.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Craig for 5 years of wonderful simming here on the Pacifica and for creating a truly memorable character in L’Verrem. I would also like to personally thank him for serving as our first officer over the last couple of years where he has done a fantastic job. In his five years as playing as L’Verrem, Craig has established himself as an important member of the crew who we will never be able to fully replace. He has had such a impact on the ship that I have decided to add Craig to the Pacifica’s Hall of Fame effective immediately. So congratulations Craig on joining that exclusive list!
Details on how L’Verrem will be written out of the Pacifica’s story are still being finalised, so please keep your eyes open for that. I am also hoping to announce later tonight the selection of our First Officer, so please keep your eyes out for that as well.
For now though I ask that you all join me in saying a fond farewell to Craig. While this is goodbye for now I’m sure that you will cross paths with the Pacifica some time in the future.
Cheers.
Daniel.
