General Overview:
Jessica or Jessie as she prefers it, is a very friendly person who a lot of people can get along with. She has a great sense of pride for the Star Fleet Uniform and will do anything to protect it even if it means risking her own life. Jessie has accumulated a lot of admirers in her time at the Academy and had been held in high regard on the Stardrifter after her hard work to restore the ship to it it's former glory.
Strengths & Weaknesses:
Naturally patient, good ear for languages, photographic memory. Has a tendency to over talk & over think in some situations.
Ambitions:
To advance her career up the chain of command and to one day become the commander of her own ship.
Hobbies and Interests:
She has a keen interest in the game of Baseball, keeps an old Earth Premier League baseball on her desk. She is also a great chess player and is always up for a challenge. She also enjoys spending her leisure time in the holodeck playing baseball.

History
Childhood Early Life
Born into a large family of 6 Jessie was the unlucky middle child. She strived hard to earn the attention of her parents by applying herself to her school work and developing her skills in the sport she loved. She grew up as a tom boy of sorts due to her skill in the sporting arena. During her years in high school Jessie became very much interested in space exploration so at the end of last school year she enrolled in Star Fleet Academy.
Star Fleet Academy History
In 2374 Jessie entered the Academy with near perfect entrance scores and catapulted herself up even further by becoming one of the top students in her class. In her freshman year at the Academy Jessie joined up with the Academy's baseball team as second baseman. In her final year at the academy she dislocated her right shoulder and missed the playoffs where the academy team lost to the Martians. This injury forced Jessie out of the game she loved for many years.
Star Fleet History
In 2378 fresh out of the academy Jessie was assigned to the USS Stardrifter as Chief Operations Officer. It was a large surprise for her to be offered the position straight from the academy. When the ship was attacked during the change over of command, Santiago was one of the lucky survivors of the attack and managed to fight off the pirates with an inexperienced crew. This caught the attention of the newly appointed CO of the Stardrifter who appointed her as the Ships new Acting Executive Officer. During her time as the Acting Executive Officer onboard the Stardrifter, Jessica devoleped a flair and talent for Diplomacy and First Contact. She decided to follow this newfound skill and this is what led to her posting on the Pacifica.
