Introduction

The USS Pacifica returns home and sets out on a diplomatic mission as Commodore Butterworth takes a holiday.

After returning back to the Alpha Quadrant the Pacifica was subject to a crew reshuffle with Lieutenant James Harris leaving for assignment on Deep Space 9 leaving Ensign Wal'naq took over his duties. The Pacifica also received a new recruit fresh from Starfleet Academy in Ensign Francine Hart. Thanks to constant nagging by his senior staff a freshly promoted Commdore Daniel Butterworth takes a short holiday to Rise leaving Commander Luke Evans in ccommand of the ship. Before leaving however Butterworth and Morgan had a close romantic encounter that left them both in a slight state of confusion.

After picking up the diplomatic team to transport them to a conference, the Pacifica ran into trouble by the name of two stolen krazzle starships under the command of two romulan females. The krazzle ships launched an unprovoked attack on the Pacifica causing minor damage before Commander Evans withdrew the ship from combat. After a short break the [[USS Pacifica}Pacifica]] ran into another task force of ships which attacked the Pacifica again causing this time causing major damage before the Pacifica again retreated. Following this the Pacifica was able to reach it's destination without any other difficulties

• Elizabeth Morgan is the mother of the Pacifica's Chief Medical Officer Doctor Connie Butterworth. She first appeared with the first name of Jane during the mission but this was later changed by Connie to Elizabeth named after her own mother.
