Maxwell is a picture perfect marine, he has short cropped light brown hair which is greying in some areas and brown eyes. He has a solid build, weighing in at 185lbs and stands at 6' 8"

Personality & Traits

General Overview:

Rick Maxwell is a career marine who lives and breathes in the marine core; he has spent the majority of his life in Starfleet'ss Marine Corp. He is a very polite and disciplined man who always follows the rules to the exact letter. He often carries high expectations for his fellow marines and expects the very best from them at all times. He doesn't have much of a social life outside of the core preferring to spend most of his time at work and with his fellow marines.

Ambitions:

Rick has wanted nothing more in his life then to be in the core like his Father and Grandfather before him. His dedication to his work as meant that he had missed out on some of the finer things in life but he wouldn't have it any other way.

Hobbies and Interests:

Rick doesn't really any hobbies or interests worth mentioning as he spends his time working or sleeping he does however like to keep regular contact with his parents and sisters back on Earth and also enjoys completing training exercises in the Holodeck.

History

Rick grew up in a Starfleet marine training facility in the Capella system with his Mother, Father and two younger Sisters. His father was a drill instructor at the facility and his mother worked in the base's medical bay as a nurse. He took heavily after his father in many ways and developed his father's love for the marine core, he immediately enlisted into the core once he had reached the minimum age requirement. He passed through basic training with flying colours becoming a talented marksman along the way.

Rick's first assignment out of boot camp was on the USS Challenger as a member of the ship's marine squad. He settled into life quickly on the Challenger and showed the best amount of potential compared to the rest of the members in his squad. He however saw little action on the Challenger except for the occasional hostage situation. He moved between assignments for a number years slowly advancing through the ranks as the years passed by.

Rick was a Sergeant when the Dominion War broke out serving as a squad leader on the USS Thunderchild. In the early months of the war Rick along with the Thunderchild's entire battalion was transferred to Starbase 18 in the Regulas System where they joined Starfleet's Fifth Expedition Unit. The unit saw a lot of action during the war and spent a lot of time on the frontlines. Rick earned a commendation for his services to the core during the war and by the war's end he had been promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant. After the conclusion of the Dominion War Rick was transferred back with his squad to the USS Thunderchild. He had only been back on the Thunderchild for a couple of week's before he was promoted to the position of First Sergeant for his squad.

He continued to serve aboard the Thunderchild for another couple of years before he was hand picked for a new assignment aboard the Sovereign Class USS Pacifica.
