General Overview
The USS Electra is an old Excelsior Class Starship that was assigned to Deep Space 12 until sometime in 2380. During to Borg attack on DS12 the USS Electra was used as the launching platform for the station's marines who were used during the final attack on the borg vessel. Whilst attached to Deep Space 12 the USS Electra usually fell under the command of the Station's Executive Officer and was often used in a support role to the station's flagship the Defiant Class USS Viper.
