Introduction
The USS Pacifica departs Deep Space 12 after a two month refit.
Summary
After a busy two months at Deep Space 12 undergoing a major refit, the crew began to make final preparations for the Pacifica's departure and finished off what was left to do of the refit. Before the Pacifica pulled out of DS12 Commodore Daniel Butterworth promoted Mark Kirkwood to the rank of Lieutenant Commander, Rogal Dorn to the rank of First Lieutenant and both James Harris and Francine Hart to the rank of full Lieutenant. With the ship underway to the Typhon System to assist with Federation terraforming operations, First Lieutenant Dorn informed Butterworth that the marines were going to need to be dropped off at a Marine Training Facility for training exercises. Shortly after dropping off the Marines Commodore Butterworth was contacted by Starfleet Command and was given entirely new orders.
