Rosie Fletcher is a Bajoran Marine Fighter pilot who holds the rank of First Lieutenant. She served as part of the 501st Battalion on the USS Pacifica for over a year before her wing was transferred to Starbase 99.

History
Rosie was the true definition of the Starfleet child, she was hooked from the very beginning on the smart organised finely dressed institution's intelectual appeal. She met Taylor during her first year at the Academy and didn't make many other friends. At the beginning she had harboured a small crush on Mitchel, but it wasn't to be and it eventually wore out until they were just really good friends; how they remained to this day. Rosie's time at the Academy was fairly uneventful and passed quickly. Her quick learning skills and already high IQ meant that she passed most classes with honors and was quickly on her way.
She was however infected by Taylor's unwavering desire to fly and later found that she too harboured the same feeling. Mitchel was unlucky though and didn't pass the flight test, he instead decided to retake the test with the Marine Flight Corps in the hope of seeing action with Starfleet. This required a short course with the Marine Academy which Taylor took; Rosie wasn't far behind. At the marine Academy Taylor met a Schyler Smith who he quickly took to liking, they became good friends and Rosie's friendship with Mitchel was put on ice by the end of the Academy. Taylor and Schyler were good friends but Rosie was really lonely, Taylor introduced her to Schyler who she held a grudge with because he had taken Taylor and she felt lonely. She was furthur sickened, so she says by the repeated attempts Schyler made but never talks of it to pick her up; she shot him down every time. They were all assigned to the Pacifica together and are now all good friends, although Rosie will never admit to it.
