Star Fleet Officer
Ensign John Sherman joined the USS Pacifica in 2378 following the tragic events that occurred during the Pacifica's visit to Deep Space 12. He worked closely with his department head [[Eric Davidson}Lt. Davidson]] during the Pacifica's search for the missing USS Noble and was one of the duty officers manning the bridge, when the Pacifica and the [[USS Iowa got caught in a temporal rift. Sherman managed to retain a cool head during the crisis and took charge of the bridge after Lieutenant Francine Hart and Ensign Adam James left to repair the offline enviromental systems on deck 2. Following the Pacifica's return to it's own time line Ensign Sherman was offered the position of Chief Strategic Operations Officer on the USS Ultima with a promotion to the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade.
