Appearance
Mel'pek is monster of a man with 21 stone of pure muscle, tactical is a natural position for him. He has many battle scars, including a large prominent scar along the left side of his face dealt to him during his time fighting the Jem'Hadar on Methlos III. His skin is of a dark-olive complexion slightly darker than Chancellor Martok's and despite his scars has rugged good looks.
Personality
Mel'pek is quite friendly towards terran races - for a Klingon - and respects the fact that although physically inferior their abilities lie elsewhere. Despite this he is somewhat of a loner preferring to hone his battle skills than spend time with others. He maintains a cold and calculating exterior to others and often seems distant, however during battle he has the full flair of a klingon warrior.
Hobbies and Interests
His only real interests are in battle and fighting techniques, however he does spend much of his free time developing a form of martial arts cleansing technique incorporating tai chi and traditional klingon martial arts.
History
Mel'pek was raised on Qo'noS in the townhouse of G'och where as a child he spent most of his time preparing for his rites of ascension and being trained by the house Mang. Mel'pek attended the Klingon Academy on Qo'noS where his chosen division was unsurprisingly tactical. It was here that he started to become more distant from others and despite acheiving near perfect marks on all parts of the course was not given a command on the grounds of his lack of interaction with others and his refusal to drink copius amounts of bloodwine.
Mel'pek was nominated for the Klingon Starfleet Exchange Program after his graduation and served aboard the USS Breathless until the outbreak of the Klingon-Cardassian War when he returned and served aboard the IKS Chor'naq a B'Rel Class Bird of Prey. After the resumption of diplomatic ties he returned and served on the USS Alefounder until the outbreak of the Dominion war when he returned to serve in the protection of Ty'Gokor. After the defeat of the dominion he returned to serve in Starfleet, before finally returning to the Empire in 2380.
