NPC Starship Captain
Paul Newlands in a Starfleet Captain in command of the Medical Starship the USS Lesley. In 2380 Captain Newlands was ordered to take the Lesley and it's sister ship the Cortez to the Archerian System to render medical aid to the Archerian people who were suffering through a series of unexplained Earthquakes. Following the Lesley's arrival in the Archerian System Captain Newlands served as the ranking Starfleet Officer until the arrival of Commodore Butterworth and the USS Pacifica. Captain Newlands continued to lead the medical relief efforts on the planet, until both the Lesley and Cortez were dispatched to the Alpha Eridani System to respond to a distress call from a Federation Mining Colony.
