Quick Overview
Starbase 565 was a Federation Regula Class Starbase originally located at Wolf 359, where the ill fated first major battle between the Federation and the Borg was fought. Starbase 565 served as the flag base for Task Force 86 for a number of years and was under the command of Rear Admiral Victoria Galloway. Starbase 565 was lated moved from Wolf 359 to the K’Zinti Patriarch where it was later destroyed.
The USS Pacifica & Starbase 565
The USS Pacifica only visited Starbase 565 once in late 2377 when the Pacifica pulled in for a short R&R break. During the ship’s stay Starbase 565 the Pacifica and it’s crew assisted the Starbase’s crew in a search for some it’s crew who had gone missing. This led to the Pacifica’s first encounter with the Romulan Star Empire.
