USS Columbia

General Overview

The USS Columbia is the former name of the USS Pacifica's Delta Flyer Class Runabout. The craft was renamed as the USS Tamar in 2381, after Starfleet commissioned a USS Columbia into the fleet. For the full history on the Pacifica's Delta Fly see the USS Tamar.

OOC Information

  • The crew decided to name it's Delta Flyer Runabout Columbia as a sign of respect following the tragic loss of the Space Shuttle Columbia and it's crew.
  • It was decided to rename the Columbia as the USS Tamar after discussions by the crew that the Columbia should be more then just a simple runabout.
