With the rift now gone both of the lifeforms were trapped on the Noble with no way home, in a desperate bid to try and find a way home the lifeforms were able to influence Commander [[Buzz Polaris]] to commandeer the Noble and launch a attack on the [[USS Pacifica]] as they tried to escape with the Noble. The Noble was successfully retrieved by a small number of the Pacifica's crew. The Pacifica's crew were then able to successfully negoiate a deal with the lifeforms thanks to the efforts of Ensign [[Adam James]].
