A Cremwan is a military rank the equivalent of which is used by the service organizations of many civilizations.
Use in Starfleet
The rank of Crewman is generally reserved for personnel with between two and four years of experience. Crewmen generally serve in positions such as medical or engineering technicians or in Administraion roles. Promotion to Petty Officer Third Class upon re-enlistment is common, but not guaranteed.
