Basic Overview
Matt Custer served as the Pacifica's Marine Executive Officer in 2380 and 2381. He left the [[USS Pacifica}Pacifica]] at the end of 2381 to take up a post as Marine Detachment Commander on Starbase 565. First Lieutenant Matt Custer was played by Matt Custer throughout his stay on the Pacifica.

History
Matt was born on Earth in the state of Ohio both of Matt's parents were Starfleet Officers, his mother worked at Starfleet Medical and his father worked at the Academy. Easy to say that Matt was exposed to the Starfleet way of life early on, when Matt completed his primary school he entered Starfleet Academy. When he got to the Academy he decided that he wanted to be a Marine, his academy courses were tailored accordingly. Matt struggled with some of the academics but made it up in the practical training. In the field his instructors thought that Matt was a natural leader with a good head on his shoulders. Much of his academy life was uneventful and peaceful Matt enjoyed his time at the Academy but was somewhat impatient to get his career started and to get on a starship.
Four short years later Matt was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Starfleet Marine Corps Matt served at many places from planetary posts to starships. Early on in his career Matt took a LOA from the marines for personal reasons then return later on. Mid 2381 Matt was assigned to the USS Pacifica as the Marine Executive Ffficer, later that year matt was promoted to First Lieutenant. He served on the Pacifica for over a year before he was transferred to Starbase 565 where he took over command of the station's marine division.
